The Federal tourism Agency has warned of possible arrest for the launch of the drones in Thailand

Rosturizm has urged tour operators to inform customers about the new procedure for the registration of drones in Thailand, reports “Interfax”.

“According to the Embassy of Russia in Bangkok, Thailand introduced a new order of registration of radio-controlled aircraft (drones). On the same day, entered into force a ban on the operation of unregistered equipment,” — said the Department.

The owners of the drones have 90 days to put them in a special account.

It is clarified that from January 2018, operation of an unregistered aircraft will be treated as a violation of the law “On telecommunication”.

The maximum penalty will be a fine of up to 100 thousand baht ($3 thousand) and/or imprisonment for up to 5 years.

Earlier it was reported that in Thailand, from November 1, will ban Smoking on beaches 20 countries, in connection with which offenders can expect large fines and imprisonment for up to one year.
