Joshua defended the title of world champion in heavy weight under versions of the world Boxing Association (WBA). International Boxing Federation (IBF) and International Boxing organization (IBO).
In April of 2017 Joshua defeated Ukrainian Vladimir Klitschko a technical knockout in the 11th round. In the asset 28-year-old native of Watford 20 wins in 20 fights in the professional ring (all by knockout). In 2012 he won the gold medal at the Olympic games in London.
