A Kremlin spokesman explained that the military exercises comply with all international standards and therefore can not strengthen the intensity of the international situation. “Given all the required notice and so on,” — said Peskov.
On the eve of President of Russia Vladimir Putin took part in the training for the management of strategic nuclear forces of Russia. Testing involved long-range aircraft Tu-160, Tu-95MS and Tu-22M3 bombers, which took off from the base airfields Ukrainian, Engels, Shaykovka and carried out launches of cruise missiles air-launched against ground targets on the Kura polygon (Kamchatka), Pemba (Komi Republic) and Terekty (Kazakhstan).
The defense Ministry said that training was in accordance with the plan of preparation of Armed forces of Russia.
