The Russian defense Ministry has opened a tender for the purchase of a large hydrographic boat. As reported RIA Novosti, the Agency is expecting delivery until October 25, 2020.
The maximum contract price is 1.15 billion. According to the application, the boat project 19920 with a crew of 12 people is designed to perform complex hydrographic works in coastal areas, as well as for maintenance of AIDS to navigation in enclosed waters.
The boat will be based in a military unit 90719 in Murmansk.
On 7 October it became known that the Russian defense Ministry has decided to adjust the funding of the repair and modernization of aircraft carrier “Admiral Kuznetsov”. According to media reports, instead of the planned $ 50 billion for these purposes will be allocated only half. Work should begin before the end of this year.
