Moscow. 23 Oct. INTERFAX.RU — Attacked the journalist of “echo of Moscow” Tatiana Felgengauer, a foreign citizen, reported “Interfax” on Monday in a press-service of the Moscow Central Directorate of police.
“The assailant was detained by the guards, and presently handed over to police. Pre-installed, the attacker is a citizen of a foreign state. According to preliminary data, the reason for the incident was personal enmity”, — stated in the message.
The press service noted that the police will be considered all versions of the incident.
At the scene works investigative team, set all the circumstances of the incident. The public will be informed, said the press service.
Attack
Earlier Monday it was reported that unknown persons broke into the editorial office of “Echo of Moscow” and was stabbed in the throat leading Felgenhauer.
The journalist was hospitalized in the Institute of Ambulance Sklifosovsky, said an informed source. Its status is estimated as heavy stable, non-life-threatening.
The absence of the threat of life Felgenhauer also reports the official website of “echo of Moscow” with reference to physicians.
The correspondent of “Interfax” reports that the editorial office on Novy Arbat on duty police officer, parked near two police cars. Several police officers were in the office. The Prosecutor General’s office has taken control of the clarification of the circumstances of the attack.
