Putin signed the decree about the obliged to take the oath to new citizens
The President of Russia Vladimir Putin signed the decree about reception in nationality of the Russian people, who are obliged to bring the prescribed oath.
The document is published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
According to the decree, the Russian citizenship will receive 62 adult and three juvenile person. Under 18 years of age will get citizenship from the date of taking each of them the oath of a citizen of Russia. Minors — after the oath will bring their parents.
The state Duma adopted the text of the oath of Russian citizenship on July 12. People who get Russian citizenship, swears to observe the Constitution and Russian legislation, rights and freedoms of its citizens; to perform the duties of the citizen for the benefit of the state and society; to protect the freedom and independence of the country and “to be loyal to Russia, to respect its culture, history and tradition.”
The version of the text of the oath, which was selected in the state Duma, suggested that the head of the Duma Committee on state construction and legislation Pavel Krasheninnikov. To introduce the oath in the citizenship of Russia Putin suggested at the beginning of June.
