SC opened a criminal case after the attack on a leading “echo of Moscow”

The investigative Committee opened a criminal case on the fact of attack on the leading radio station “Echo of Moscow” Tatiana Felgengauer. The suspect — 48-year-old man, presumably a foreigner.

The main investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in Moscow opened a criminal case against 48-year-old man who attacked the journalist of radio station “Echo of Moscow” Tatiana Felgengauer, reported the press service of the Ministry. He is suspected of committing a crime under part 3 of article 30, part 1 of article 105 of the criminal code (attempted murder).

In the SC indicates that the investigators of the Main investigation Department in Moscow to conduct inspection of the scene. They set the explanation and picture of what happened.

The attack on a leading radio station “Echo of Moscow” took place on the afternoon of October 23. A man with a knife broke into the office on Novy Arbat, sprayed in the face guard with tear gas, then hit Felgenhauer with a knife in neck area.

The offender tried to escape but was detained by the security.

The journalist was taken to the Institute of emergency care named Sklifosovsky. According to preliminary information, the doctors, the immediate threat to her life or not now.
