“Tell me, what power”: in the USA ended with a rap battle Mr. Dizaster and Oxymoron
MOSCOW, 16 Oct — RIA Novosti. Rap-battle with the participation of Russian artist Oxymoron (Miron Fedorov) American Dizaster (Bachir Yagami) was held in Los Angeles in the international tournament of World Domination. The competition was held without the judges in the English language and took about an hour.
Oxxxymiron started his speech with a quote from the movie “Brother 2” “tell me, American, what power?”. Laughed at a not very distinguished career as Dizaster rap artist and accused his opponents of hypocrisy, saying that Yagami, Lebanese origin, stands under the American flag while US troops kill residents of the Middle East.
Dizaster in response reminded that the Russians unlike the Americans haven’t landed on the moon, dedicated a few lines to the exterior of Myron and delighted fans of Oxymoron cursing in Russian.
At the end Oxxxymiron expressed confidence that the rap battle, despite its aggressive nature, can help to improve relations between Russia and the USA, Arabs and Jews.
“I’m not saying that rap battle will save the world, but I believe that battle rap can be something more than just rhymes and punchy,” said Oxxxymiron at the end of the speech.
In the summer of 2017 on the site Versus in Petersburg took place the battle Oxxxymiron vs Purulent. Oxxxymiron lost, but the video posted August 13 on YouTube, has gained over 25 million views.
