“Dislike” Zvyagintsev has received the Grand prize at the London film festival

The film “Dislike” of Director Andrey Zvyagintsev has won the main prize of the 61st London international film festival. This was reported on the website of the event.

The jury called the film “a very poetic and beautiful.” “Although the picture focuses on the private history of one family from Russia, it is perceived as a world tragedy. The Director turned in a personal social and political statement,” said the judges of the festival.

Zvyagintsev’s film was the only Russian band in the competition.

“Dislike” was released in Russian cinemas on 1 June. In the film, which tells about the search for the boy, who escaped from the family due to the divorce of his parents, played by Maryana Spivak, Alexey Rozin, Matvey Novikov and Marina Vasilieva. The painting was included in the long list of contenders for the award “Oscar” in the category “Best foreign language film”.
