In Moscow and Makhachkala have detained members of a cell of ISIS preparing attacks in Dagestan
The detainees are currently given a confession about his contacts with the emissaries.
MOSCOW, October 14. /TASS/. Security officers and the police detained in Moscow and Makhachkala, and four members of the underground cells of banned terrorist organization “Islamic state” (IG), preparing attacks in Dagestan. About TASS reported in the Information centre of National antiterrorist Committee (NAC).
“As a result of the implementation of the complex operational-search activities by the security authorities together with the Russian interior Ministry uncovered and suppressed the activity of supporters of the banned in the Russian Federation the international terrorist organization ISIL (formerly ISIS — approx. TASS) — reported in NAK. — 13 and 14 October in Moscow and Makhachkala were detained four members of the so-called “dormant” cells of this criminal organization, all of them are natives of Dagestan”.
According to the NAC, at present detainees give detailed confessions about their contact with emissaries, and their preparation of terrorist acts, improvised explosive devices and bladed weapons on the territory of Dagestan “in places of mass stay of people during large public events, as well as the implementation of attempts at life of law enforcement officers and military personnel.”
