Putin dismissed the Pskov Governor Turchak

Russian President Vladimir Putin has dismissed Andrey Turchak from the post of Governor of the Pskov region. On Thursday, October 12, reported on the Kremlin website.

Acting head of the region appointed Mikhail Vedernikov, Deputy Plenipotentiary representative of the President in SZFO.

This appointment was confirmed by press Secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov. “The meeting of President Putin with Mikhail Yurievich Vedernikov — Deputy Plenipotentiary representative of the President in Severo-the Western Federal district. By presidential decree he was appointed acting Governor of the Pskov region”, — said the official representative of the Kremlin.

Peskov added that Turchak dismissed at his own request.

Earlier changes have affected, among others, the Krasnoyarsk and Primorsky Krai, Ivanovo, Omsk, Orel, Novosibirsk, Samara and Nizhny Novgorod oblast and Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
