Court of the city of Tarko-sale Yamal-Nenets Autonomous district has recognized repeatedly convicted 25-year-old man guilty of disruption of the activities of the temporary detention center (part 2 of article 321 of the criminal code). This was reported on the website of the regional Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia on Friday, 13 October.
As a result, he was appointed punishment in the form of 22,5 years of imprisonment. This is the total period taking into account previously made in respect of his convictions for more serious crimes.
According to the materials of the case, on the night of 19 January 2016, the accused set fire to the collected in the center of the chamber insulator bedding, pulled out the metal sink and the water supply pipe, which broke the window.
Then the same pipe he had hit the hand of the jailer who was putting out a fire extinguisher fire through the window in the door.
“During the preliminary investigation, the attacker fully admitted his guilt and actively contributed to the disclosure and investigation of crimes”, — stressed in the TFR.
