In Primorsky Krai drunken fishermen set off in pursuit of a police boat and went on its RAM after law enforcement authorities had forbidden them to catch fish. This was reported on the website of the office of transport Ministry of the Russian Federation on far East Federal district.
The case occurred in the Khasan district on the banks of the Narva river. Police put 15 drunk men on notice that they can’t fish in this spot, but they showed against law enforcement aggression and tried to take possession of their service weapon. Police have warned men about the illegality of their actions and fired two warning shots into the air.
“Returning to the rubber boat, the police moved away from the coast, but at high speed the boat police came in a boat, in which were two 31-year-old men in a state of alcoholic intoxication. Threatening law enforcement officers with physical violence, the suspects rammed a detachable engine boats”, — stated in the message.
As noted, the police managed the oars to move away toward the shore, but the fishermen several times rammed the boat in order to flip. Troublemakers managed to hold with the help of the coast came to the rescue group.
In the attack on the police opened a criminal case under part 2 of article 318 of the Russian Criminal code (“violence against a representative of power”). Men are threatened by deprivation of liberty for a term up to 10 years.
