Putin was accused of cloning the governors
The network drew attention to the external similarity of the temporarily acting head of the Omsk region the Deputy of the state Duma Alexander Burkov and “governors of the clones,” Gleb Nikitin, and Dmitry Azarov. Burkov was appointed acting Governor of the Omsk region on 9 October after the resignation of his predecessor, Viktor Nazarov met with President Vladimir Putin.
In late September, the similarity of the new governors of Nizhny Novgorod and Samara regions Gleb Nikitin, and Dmitry Azarov gave rise to conspiracy theories. Twitter suggested that officials are representatives of the new Android series, launched by the presidential administration.

Some of the appointees were trained in the so-called “school governors”, organized with the participation of the presidential administration of the Russian presidential Academy of national economy and public administration under the President of Russia (Ranepa). Training for potential candidates in governors was held in Sochi.
