About 77 percent of all agricultural land in the suburbs are in circulation for the purpose. This was reported on the website of the regional government on Tuesday, 3 Oct.
“The area entered in the land turnover (YTD — approx. “Of the tape.ru”) on 29 September 2017 is 48.3 thousand hectares,” — said the Minister of agriculture and food of the Moscow region Andrey Razin.
As of January 1, 2017, the amount of arable land in the region is 777 thousand hectares of the total area, of which agricultural enterprises are used 518,7 thousand hectares of farms of 43.9 thousand hectares, the report said.
On 11 August it was reported that this year the fields near Moscow it is planned to collect not less than three hundred thousand tons of grain. As of September 22, farmers harvested more than 400 thousand tons of grain, which is 12 percent above the total gross grain harvest last year.
On 20 July, the Governor of Moscow region Andrei Vorobyov noted the high performance of the region in agriculture. He expressed confidence that the development of the local agricultural enterprises will rise.
