Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed hope that the acting head of Dagestan Vladimir Vasilyev will be able to show on this post my best qualities and experience gained during the work in the interior Ministry and the state Duma. His words leads RIA Novosti on Tuesday, 3 Oct.
“Over the years you have certainly become that person, which we have called a political heavyweight, you’re a politician at the Federal level, and, in my opinion, such a person need today is the Republic,” the President said at the meeting with Vasilyev.
Earlier Tuesday, Putin accepted the resignation of head of Dagestan Ramazan Abdulatipov and has appointed temporarily fulfilling duties of the head of the faction “United Russia” Vladimir Vasiliev.
Abdulatipov, head of Daghestan in 2013, announced the intention to leave the post on September 27. The main reason for this decision 71-year-old politician called the age. He also said that his resignation implies a “total”greening” frames.”
Last week’s reshuffle of governors raised Krasnoyarsk Krai, Samara and Nizhny Novgorod oblast and Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
