The government of Catalonia announced 337 injured in clashes with police

The clashes in Catalonia has suffered at least 337 people. These data were provided by the local government, accusing the current government of Spain.

The government of Catalonia via Twitter reported that the attempts of the police and Civil guard of Spain to disrupt the referendum on the independence of the affected 337 people.

According to Barcelona police operates on the principle of “go and grab”.

The official representative of the Catalan government Jordi Turull said that the responsibility lies on the head of the Spanish Cabinet Mariano Rahoi.

Turull offered to all those affected by the actions of the police to write statements to the law enforcement agencies of Catalonia.

As reported by Reuters, the information about 337 victims was confirmed in the Department of health of Catalonia.

The authorities of the region reported that residents are still able to participate in the referendum on independence in different parts of Catalonia. Based on maps provided by the local government, the majority of sites are still running and not blocked by the Spanish police.

However, the Ministry of internal Affairs of Spain accused the supporters of the referendum that they are exploited by teenagers, threw stones at police.

The clashes, according to police, injured 11 police officers and gendarmes. In this regard, in Madrid believe justified the use against rioters batons and rubber bullets.

In Catalonia on 1 October the vote on the question of the independence of the region from Spain. At the polling stations formed a queue of those wishing to cast their vote, however, Spanish national police and Civil guard take action in order not to allow a referendum — block of land, confiscate the ballot boxes and the crowd dispersed.
