Moscow. September 29. INTERFAX.RU — Russian President Vladimir Putin on 28 September signed a decree declaring the disciplinary sanctions of the Minister of transport Maxim Sokolov.

Penalty to Maxim Sokolov in the form of incomplete official conformity is declared at the proposal of the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, follows from the decree. The reason for the penalties the Minister of transport was the situation with the airline “VIM-Avia”.
“And I want the Minister to say: I declare you about incomplete official compliance. If you can handle this situation quickly and effectively, then we will think about it with Dmitry Anatolyevich (Medvedev — Interfax), here’s what to do with this service incompetence, if they don’t, we will think”, — the President said at a meeting with members of the government on September 27.
During the meeting, the Russian leader also criticized Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich is that it pays insufficient attention to the transport industry.
“VIM-Avia” 25 September stopped the execution of all chartered flights due to financial problems and shortage of working capital. The stop was preceded by a series of delays in the Russian and foreign airports, affecting thousands of passengers.

The owners of the company “VIM-Avia” Rashid and Svetlana Mursekaev fled from prosecution abroad.
