More than 20 thousand residents of Yakutia left without electricity

About 26 thousand inhabitants of Yakutia were left without electricity as a result of damage of power lines due to snow storms, reports on Friday, September 29, “Interfax” with reference to the Ministry of energy.

“Heavy snowfall that hit tonight in the Aldan district, resulted in the snow sticking to the wires and, as a consequence, emergency shutdown. Now all forces of power are thrown on restoration of power supply”, — told Agency in the press-service of “South-Yakutsk electrical networks”.

Without light remained the city of Aldan, the solar neighborhood, the towns of Lenin, Swan, Yakokut, Orochon, and a Large Region.

Under forecasts of weather forecasters, September 29, a heavy snowfall will continue.
