Police in the U.S. state of Indiana shot of actor Jim Duff (Jim Duff), whom they mistook for the real robber. Reported by the New York Post.
The guards noticed the man in the mask, exit the building with a gun. They thought that the man fit the description of the robber, whom they are seeking.
Officers demanded the suspect to drop the weapon, but he did not obey the order. Then one of the guards opened fire. As a result of firing nobody suffered.
After the incident, Duff took off his mask, threw the gun and told police that they were on the set. As the newspaper notes, the company is engaged in the production of the film, most likely, not warned local authorities that this place will be shooting.
