Unknown in Germany poisoned baby food and demanded 10 million euros

Law enforcement bodies of the Federal state of Baden-Wuerttemberg are wanted extortionists who poisoned baby food in one of the supermarkets of the city of Friedrichshafen in southern Germany. About this reports Deutsche Welle.

Currently discovered five jars of baby food that had been mixed with the ethylene glycol. In what kind of trading network was discovered poisoned food, police said, to avoid panic among the population.

If the toxic liquid will get into the human body, it can cause permanent changes and even death. The attacker demands a ransom of 10 million euros, threatening otherwise to add the dangerous substance to a new batch of products for children. This was stated by the regional Prosecutor’s office.

The extortionist warned that if his demands are not met, it will add more glycol to 20 names of products intended for sale not only in Germany but also abroad.

On 12 July it was reported that police in Calais (North of France) was suspected of poisoning drinking water intended for migrants. According to sources, the guards poured in cans of water toxic substance used in tear gas canisters.

“One worker took a SIP and felt a slight indisposition. When people realized that it is impossible to drink, they threw pots. For three weeks I heard of three such cases”, — said the representative of the charitable organization Auberge des Migrants. He added that many witnesses saw the police poisoned the water.
