Over the past six months the proportion of Russians recognizing the possibility of mass protests of the population due to falling living standards, increased from 19% to 26%. The results of sociological research published on a site “Levada-Center” on Thursday, September 28.
With 14 people out of every hundred of the respondents are willing to personally participate in such actions.
It is unlikely the protests because of poverty, I think 69 per cent of respondents (5 per cent less than in February).
The speech of the people, coupled with political demands, it considers it possible, a fifth of respondents (21 percent, which is 7 percent more than in February). To participate in them are about 11 percent of respondents.
According to “Levada-Center”, the level of protest sentiment in Russia is now higher than it was in the beginning of the year, however, it fell slightly compared to figures for June.
In a study conducted in mid-September, participated 1.6 thousand people from 137 communities in 48 regions of Russia.
In June, citing poll data, at the State University of management said that a third of Russians aged 16 to 24 years old find it impossible to achieve something in life. While 14% of respondents plan to go abroad in order to realize themselves there.
