Russia may reduce the degree of alcoholic beverages
Russia is considered the new standard for alcoholic drinks, according to which the degree of such popular cocktails as “Screwdriver”, “gin and tonic” and “Rum-Cola”, may be reduced from 9 to 7.
It is noted that in the case of the adoption of the new GOST international quality certificates he will be required to submit to all manufacturers of such drinks.
Experts believe that the reduced strength of the cocktails will reduce the adverse effects among the most active consumers of this drink, women and youth.
The new standard also proposes to ban artificial sweetener and limit the use of phosphoric acid. Moreover, the draft standard suggests labeling requirements, which should be an inscription warning about harm of alcohol consumption.
