Aviation United States-led international coalition carried out air strikes on a residential area in the Syrian province of Deir ez-Zor with the use prohibited by international conventions, white phosphorus. About it reports Reuters with reference to local residents.
In the attack three people were killed and five others were injured. “Also caused significant material damage to public and private property”, — stated in the message Agency.
It is noted that the blow was struck in the district of as-SUAR in the North-East of the province.
On 21 September it was reported that Deir-ez-Zor 85 percent came under the control of Syrian government forces. The Russian defense Ministry said that during the week the city will be liberated from the militants completely.
