In the U.S. city of San Diego (California) began the construction of the prototype wall on the border with Mexico. This was reported on the website of the U.S. Customs and border protection service.
It is planned about eight of these buildings throughout the border zone, and the four walls will be of concrete, four of the alternative materials.
The construction will be completed within a month. The height of the building will reach nine metres.
After completion of the work the experts are to test the design: in particular, they will check how difficult it is to climb over the wall.
