Lavrov found UN “excess fat” and suggested to cut it off

UN scored “excess fat,” and it should be cut off. This opinion was expressed by Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov in interview to the program “week” on NTV, excerpts from the conversation on Sunday, September 24, leads TASS.

“The fact that the UN is extra “fat” is not a novelty. But should be approached very carefully to any serious reforms, because this extra “fat” is largely due to the fact that there is still 193 member countries,” — said the Minister.

Lavrov noted that all countries, including microvascularity with a population of 10-15 thousand people, I want initiation to the work of the UN and offices in the Secretariat of the organization. In his opinion, it is absolutely understandable desire. “So when we get this “fat” to cut off, as we would not hurt a living organism of the organization,” he added.

In the same interview Lavrov expressed confidence that the US will not strike at the DPRK threatened to Pyongyang. In his opinion, this is due to the fact that Americans are “not that suspect, and they know exactly what she [North Korea] has nuclear bomb.”
