A Russian tourist was taken to hospital after paragliding in Turkey

In Turkey the Russian tourist was taken to hospital after paragliding. The incident occurred yesterday in the area of ölüdeniz, said on Sunday, September 24, Hurriyet Daily News.

Victim Ilya Ivanov was going to make a flight from Babadag mountain, however, his parachute suddenly closed, and the man fell to the rocky ground from a height of 70 meters. On the scene arrived the ambulance which brought the man to the hospital in Fethiye.

Ivanov’s condition is estimated as critical, he sustained multiple fractures and severe bleeding.

In early September it was reported that the Russians fell into a coma after a serious accident in Turkey. The incident occurred in the resort of Alanya in Antalya province. In the penultimate day of the holiday Dmitry Filippov from Izhevsk decided to take a ride on a rented scooter, but during the trip, he collided with a bus. The man suffered multiple fractures, traumatic brain injury and brain hemorrhage. In addition, he had a punctured lung.
