The Bundestag doubted the legality of the decision of Merkel to let the refugees in Germany

The German Parliament has released 11-page report, which the decision of German Chancellor Angela Merkel to open in 2015, the country’s borders for refugees is examined from a legal point of view. On Friday, September 22, reports Deutsche Welle.

The report indicated that Merkel’s government had not presented legitimate grounds for taking decision about opening of borders. Experts who worked on the document, I assure that such a decision could only accept the Parliament after the vote, and Merkel instead was limited to consultations with a number of Ministers.

January 29-German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble acknowledged that the decision about the mass admission of refugees in 2015 was incorrect.

In 2015 arrived in Germany, more than 1.1 million migrants from North Africa and the Middle East. Over 17 thousand asylum seekers in 2016, has sued the German government. The reason for such a large number of claims was the refusal of Germany to grant migrants full refugee status.
