In California, there were two consecutive earthquakes with a magnitude of 5.7

MOSCOW, 22 sen — news. Two consecutive earthquakes of magnitude 5.7 occurred in the U.S. state of California on Friday, according to the US Geological survey (USGS).

The first earthquake of magnitude 5.7 was recorded at 19:50 UTC (22.50 GMT). The epicenter of the quake was located 204 km to the West of the city of Ferndale. Hearth lies at a depth of 9.1 kilometer. It was followed by a 5.6 magnitude earthquake, it occurred in 58 miles from Ferndale, depth was 4.6 km.
