MOSCOW, September 21. /TASS/. The film Director Andrei Zvyagintsev “Dislike” is nominated from Russia for the competition of the prestigious American award “Oscar”. About this TASS said Thursday a source in the Russian Oscar Committee, a special meeting was held at the House of cinema Union of cinematographers.

“Dislike” was released in Russian cinemas on 1 June. The main roles in the film played by Maryana Spivak, Alexey Rozin, Matvey Novikov, Marina Vasilyeva, Andris Keiss, Alexei Fateev and others. Script writers Oleg Negin and Andrey Zvyagintsev, the operator — Michael Krichman. The story is about modern Moscow family, is experiencing a severe, painful divorce.

The picture was a joint production of Russia, France, Germany and Belgium. The picture has rolled 18+ rating due to the presence in it of profanity. The film already received many Russian and international awards, most notable of which is the jury prize 70-th Cannes film festival.

In 2015 Zvyagintsev’s film “Leviathan” was nominated for “Oscar” in the category “Best foreign language film”.
