Patriarch Kirill has threatened retirement dissenting priests

The head of the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia, Kirill urged the clergy to the strict execution of his order. He said this after the Liturgy in the Dormition Cathedral of Novorossiysk, reports on Thursday, September 21, RIA Novosti.

“If someone still doubts remain [in] what do I need to do all what the Patriarch taught, — leave all doubt! And strictly do what I command! Because I am not of his wisdom saying, and the wisdom of the whole episcopate of the Russian Orthodox Church,” he said.

The Patriarch added that another way for the Church today, no. “If you don’t retire!” he said.

Kirill also urged Church pastors to give special attention to the youth: “go to school, to develop the Church educational system”. He believes that this will lead to significant changes in the lives of Russians. “If the majority of Orthodox youth will take place in infancy and childhood, through our parishes, this will be good citizens of Russia — great family build and nurture the next generation in the spirit and power that brought us Lord,” he said.

Earlier, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church urged Church pastors to shy away from the image of “his guy” in dealing with young people and to abandon expensive cars, even donated. “We should not forget about responsibility. The bishops have no right to bring temptation,” explained the Patriarch.
