The President of Russia Vladimir Putin inspected the Russian-Belarusian exercises “West-2017” on the ground Luga in the Leningrad region. On Monday, September 18, reports TASS.

Joint strategic maneuvers of Russia and Belarus “West-2017” held from 14 to 20 September. The exercise involved up to 12.7 thousand troops, 70 aircraft and helicopters, up to 680 pieces of equipment.
Similar joint exercise was conducted in 2009 and 2013.
