An elderly citizen of Ukraine tried to burn himself near the bus station in the center of Volgograd. On Monday, September 18, reports “Interfax-South” with reference to the representative of the regional Central Directorate of interior Ministry Anton Kornauhov.
The incident occurred in the Central area of the city around 14:00 Moscow time. As said the interlocutor of the Agency, 74-year-old woman set fire to a dress. As a result, she was hospitalized in one of city hospitals with burns to 30 percent of the body.
“Currently, it turns out, what would make a woman his action,” said Karnaukhov.
In August, a man staged a self-immolation in the grocery pavilion in the suburbs of Krasnoyarsk after his girlfriend refused to make out with him. The victim was hospitalized with burns to 99 percent of the body surface, he soon died.
