Investigators in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky began checking into the death of 12-month-old boy whose parents have been treated for SARS. This was reported on the website of the regional Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR) on Monday, September 18.
Investigators appointed forensic examination, and its results, will give a legal assessment of the actions of doctors.
According to preliminary data, on September 12, the child has a fever. Parents called the ambulance. Arrived the doctor diagnosed the symptoms of SARS and prescribed the necessary medicines. However, this has not led to recovery: four days later, the condition of the baby deteriorated, the seizures started. Parents again called the doctors, but after several attempts to resuscitate the boy, the doctors pronounced him dead.
