Two acquitted defendants in the “case 2 may” in Odessa is not released from the courtroom

Moscow. September 18. INTERFAX.RU IN the city of Chernomorsk Odessa region of Ukraine are not allowed to leave Illichevsk city court has just acquitted two defendants in the case about the events on 2 may 2014 in Odessa (in terms of events in the Greek area).

As the correspondent of Agency “Interfax-Ukraine”, at least two of the defendants in the case of events on may 2, 2014, in particular, the citizen of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Nefedovo and Ukrainian Sergei Dolzhenkov, which is a consequence considered as the organizer of mass riots, the police are not allowed to leave the courthouse.

As have informed Agency “Interfax-Ukraine” mother Dolzhenkova Tamara, now they are “indicted” according to the article associated with separatism in connection with their participation in a number of actions in the spring of 2014 in Nikolaev.

Earlier, the court found untenable the evidence of the prosecution in the participation and organization of the accused in the riots, which caused grave consequences (death and injuries). The five defendants who were in custody, was released in the courtroom.

The Ukrainian Prosecutor’s office has already announced plans to appeal the acquittal. Some activists of the “Ukrainian organizations” demanded criminal penalties for the investigators of the Prosecutor’s office of Odessa region and Prosecutor General of Ukraine, which, in their opinion, negligent attitude to their work, with the result that 19 defendants in the case about the events on may 2, 2014 in Odessa, was justified.
