Lavrov arrived in new York to participate in the work of the UN General Assembly
The Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov has arrived in new York to participate in the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly. About it the correspondent of RIA Novosti.
As reported earlier, the official representative of the foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, the work program of Lavrov in the coming week includes several dozen high-level events.
In particular, the Russian foreign Minister will speak at the UN, will take part in the traditional meeting of foreign Ministers in multilateral and regional formats on the sidelines of the General Assembly.
In addition, Lavrov will hold bilateral talks, including with the UN Secretary-General antónio Guterres and US Secretary of state Rex Tillerson.
