The U.S. permanent representative to the UN, Nikki Haley has threatened that America could destroy North Korea. She stated on CNN on Sunday, September 17.
“If North Korea will continue their reckless behavior, if the United States will have to defend itself and its allies at least in some sense, North Korea will be destroyed,” said Haley.
According to her, the American side wants to take responsibility and to try all diplomatic receptions. “If that doesn’t work, [Secretary of defense James] Mattis will take care of it,” added the diplomat.
Haley said that the UN Security Council adopted almost all possible measures “tired” of the United States.
Earlier in September, North Korean leader Kim Jong UN said that the country is practically close to developing nuclear forces.
On Friday, September 15, North Korea launched a missile “And 12” to the East. The rocket flew about 3700 miles, its trajectory passed over the Japanese Islands.
