The South Korean military has launched its own ballistic missile

South Korea started its own ballistic missiles “Genmu-2” immediately after another missile test in North Korea. About it reports “Yonhap”.

According to the chiefs of staff of the Republic of Korea, the missile was fired towards the sea of Japan.

As noted, the South Korean missile covered a distance of 250 kilometers, “which corresponds to the distance to the base of Gwangan, where the provocation.”

In Seoul called the operation a “demonstration of readiness to respond to the provocation of North Korea”.

Earlier on Friday, 15 September, North Korea launched a rocket of unknown type from the area of Sunan in its capital Pyongyang to the East. According to the South Korean military, the maximum altitude of the rocket was about 770 miles, it traveled approximately 3700 miles. In Tokyo said that the rocket flew over Japan and fell into the 2,000 kilometres from Cape Erimo in Hokkaido.

The UN security Council on 12 September unanimously adopted a resolution imposing new sanctions against Pyongyang. So, there will be restrictions on exports to North Korea of oil products. Is also the limit on the supply of crude oil to the Republic — the volume should not exceed the figures for the past 12 months. Also, the DPRK will not be able to purchase condensate and gas liquids will not be able to sell textile products. The security Council also expressed their willingness to support the six-party talks and urged their resumption.
