UK launched the biggest rocket

Company Starchaser has launched the UK’s biggest booster Skybolt 2, reports The Guardian.

The launch took place from a platform near the town of Otterburn in the North East of England. The media reached an altitude of 1.2 kilometers, and then the three elements of the rocket (fairing and the first two stages) by parachute down to the ground. The test was deemed successful.

On the Skybolt 2 was fitted with several video cameras and a stuffed toy dog named Sam.
