WASHINGTON, September 12. /TASS/. Representatives of banks, the DPRK continues to work in Russia despite sanctions imposed on Pyongyang by the UN Security Council. It claimed on Tuesday, the assistant Secretary of the Treasury Marshall Billingsley.
“Russian companies continue to support North Korea. Banking representatives of the DPRK are in Russia, flagrantly ignoring the very resolution for which Russia voted in the UN”, — said the representative of the U.S. Treasury, speaking at a hearing of the Committee on foreign Affairs, house of representatives, U.S. Congress.
Simultaneously Billingsley, who oversees the financial intelligence and anti-terrorist financing, acknowledged that, “certainly, China and Russia should be commended for supporting the adoption of the last resolution of the Security Council” UN of the DPRK.
