Putin awarded the dubious order of Alexander Nevsky

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin awarded the order of Alexander Nevsky, the ex-Russian Ambassador to US Sergey Kislyak for his great contribution to the implementation of the foreign policy of the Russian Federation, the document is published on the official portal of legal information on Monday.

“For his great contribution to the implementation of the foreign policy of the Russian Federation award: order of Alexander Nevsky Kislyak, Sergei Ivanovich — Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation, city of Moscow”, — the document says.

Kislyak led the Russian diplomatic mission in the United States since 2009. In July, the acting head of Mordovia Vladimir Volkov, previously won the elections of September 10, called Kislyak in one of three candidates on a post of the Senator, also the list included chief Federal inspector on Mordovia Vladimir Sizganov and the head of Saransk Pyotr Tultaev.
