To overcome the 5 percent barrier for getting into the new composition of the state Council was unable to “homeland” and “Communists of Russia”.

We will remind, elections of deputies of the state Council were held under a mixed electoral system — 30 MPs were elected in single-seat constituencies and 30 from party lists. With this in mind, United Russia will get 47 seats out of 60, 5 seats Communist party, LDPR and “Fair Russia” 2. The remaining 4 seats will go to independent candidates.

Turnout on the election of deputies of the state Council made up 34.54 percent.
