The police opened a criminal case on the fact of road accident near Yekaterinburg, which killed eight people and injured four. About it “Interfax” was informed in the Main Department of the MIA of Russia in Sverdlovsk region.
The case was initiated by part 5 of article 264 of the criminal code (“Violation of traffic rules and operation of vehicles”). “The investigative brigade from the most prepared employees of specialised Department on investigation of road accident”, — said the Agency interlocutor.
The accident occurred on Saturday, September 9, at about 17:30 local time (15:30 GMT) on 24-m kilometre of Polevskoy tract. According to preliminary data, the truck on the move came off one of the wheels, and he fell to his side. In one of the cars there were six people, three of whom survived, the other five people: they all died.
