Moscow authorities denied permission to hold rally in support of Muslims of Myanmar
The government of Moscow refused to hold a rally on Bolshaya Nikitskaya street in support of Muslims of Myanmar. About it reports “Rain” with reference to the organizer of the event, Arlow Khasavov.
The meeting was planned for 8 September at the Embassy of Myanmar in Moscow. The organizers wanted to gather up to 200 people.
The reason for the refusal was that the applicant did not state the purpose of the event. “In addition, the claimed place there is no ground for holding a public event with the stated number of participants,” — leads the TV channel excerpt from each document.
Among the causes of failure also make it more difficult for pedestrians and drivers, restricting access to public institutions.
Recall that an inconsistent rally in Central Moscow near the Embassy of Myanmar was held on 3 September. In the action presumably was attended by about 800 people. The audience spoke in support of Muslims being persecuted by the military government of Myanmar.
