Vladimir Putin may run for presidential elections of Russia from party “United Russia”. Reports about it “Газета.Ru” with reference to sources close to the Kremlin and to the leadership of a political organization.
“If the decision on the nomination of Putin from the party, it will happen at the Congress. If not — then the EP will still support his nomination on the Congress”, — said the interlocutor of the Internet edition.
According to journalists, Putin announced his candidacy after 10 December at the Congress of “United Russia”. The date chosen to save the President the opportunity to nominate his candidacy from the party.
Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stated that it has not yet made a final decision about the participation in elections of the President of Russia. For the first time presidency Putin has won in 2000.
