Lars Eidinger
Letter sent to the German actor Lars Eidinger supposedly from Russian Director Kirill Serebrennikov was drawing the culprit Alexey Stolyarov (Lexus) and Vladimir Kuznetsov (Vova). Audio recording of the conversation of the actor with the former President published on the website “vestige”.
Lexus and Vova indicated that communicated with Eidinger on behalf of the government “for some time”. However, he did not notice that manner of speech of the Director and the culprit are different, though, and was familiar with Serebrennikov.
On the evening of 3 September, the media asked Eidinger to publish the text of the letter and to indicate that it was given to him in Berlin “by hand”. In a statement published by Itinera in social networks, on behalf of the government stated that the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko invited the artistic Director of “Gogol-center” “to lead one of the Ukrainian theater and shoot a propaganda film on state money”.
In the post Eidinger wrote that the Director handed him a letter during his last trip to Germany and asked me to publish the text if he is arrested.
Lawyer Dmitry Haritonov representing interests accused of fraud Director, said that the pieces of silver are not passed Eidinger no letters with the request to publish them in case of arrest. “We see this as a provocation,” — said Kharitonov.
23 Aug Serebrennikov was placed under house arrest until October 19. He was accused of organization of embezzlement of budget funds in the amount of 68 million rubles.
