MOSCOW, September 4. /TASS/. All-Russia centre of studying of public opinion (VTSIOM) noted the strong leadership of the acting heads of regions candidates in eight regions of Russia, where 10 of the September elections.
In a single day of voting direct election of heads of subjects will be held in 16 regions of Buryatia, Mari El, Karelia, Mordovia, Udmurtia, Perm Krai, Belgorod, Kaliningrad, Kirov, Novgorod, Ryazan, Saratov, Sverdlovsk, Tomsk and Yaroslavl oblasts, and Sevastopol, which is the first ever direct elections of the city head. Research poll, conducted August 10-20, dealt with the electoral situation in eight of these regions – Kirov, Kaliningrad, Tomsk, Yaroslavl regions, the republics of Mordovia, Mari El, Udmurtia and Sevastopol.
