The foreign Ministry made a military response to escalating missile defense system near the Russian border
XIAMEN (China), 4 September — RIA Novosti. The build-up of THAAD missile defense system near Russia’s borders may raise the question of a military response from Moscow on these actions, said Russian Deputy foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov.
“If all of this will occur at an alarming pace, inevitably at some point, probably will be a question and our response in a military sense, in the creation of some conterbalance. I don’t want to prejudge. But not in isolation certain things to take from the context,” Ryabkov said to journalists, commenting on the issue of deploying THAAD in South Korea.
“We do not hide and do not hide the negative attitude to these plans. They had not now. Now they get, as I understand it, some acceleration.
