Minister-Counsellor of the U.S. Embassy in Moscow called to the foreign Ministry, he was handed a note of protest in connection with the US intention to conduct a search in the trade representation of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Russia.
“Second of September, the Russian foreign Ministry was caused the adviser-envoy of Embassy of the USA in Moscow by E. Godfrey. He handed a note of protest in connection with the intention of us authorities to arrange a search in the Trade mission of the Russian Federation in Washington, which today we are deprived of access, while the building is in the Russian state property and diplomatic immunity” , — said the foreign Ministry.
