TFR opened a criminal case on the fact of wreck of An-2 at an Airshow in Moscow
The investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case on the fact of wreck of plane An-2 in the Moscow suburb of Balashikha, where two people died.
The case was initiated under article under part 3 St. 263 criminal code (violation of rules of aircraft operation that caused the death of two and more persons), reports TASS.
According to the representative of the Moscow interregional investigative management on transport of Elena Markov, discusses two main versions — pilot error and a malfunction of the aircraft.
On the eve in the evening during the Airshow the an-2 aircraft at low altitude flight demonstration was performed. According to the organizers of the Airshow, the aircraft suddenly lost altitude and began to fall. The pilot managed to divert the car from the crowd. On Board were one pilot in the passenger seat sat the pilot, is not responsible for flight, both died.
